Blue Demons Finish 1st Day 2-1 at The Clash

The Blue Demons wrestled their way to the finals of their sub-bracket at The Clash in Rochester, Minnesota. The Clash, the largest and toughest dual tournament in the country, attracted serveral of the top ranked teams in the country including 10 of the top 25 this year.

The Blue Demons openned with a 45-28 win over Arrowhead Union, Wisconson. They then followed that with a come from behind victory over ACGC of Minnesota. The Blue Demons finished the match with back to back pins to take the victory.

In the bracket finals, the Blue Demons ran into the top seed and the 2nd ranked team in the country in St Edwards of Ohio. The Blue Demons dropped a 51-10 loss to St Eds.

The Demons will be wrestling today to attempt to finish 5th in the tournament. In 2007, the Blue Demons finish 4th.
